We read so many books that it’s impossible to remember all of them.
But sometimes a book will be released and you’ll just fall in love with it.
Then you find out it’s part of a series, and life just got that much better.
Here you’ll find the series that we’ve fallen in love with over the years.
Some of these series may be complete, some might still be ongoing.
Either way, we love them.
Cranberry Inn by Beth Ehemann
Read by Vicki – This is a gorgeous series about Kacie, a single mum to twin girls, and Brody, a goalie for the Minnesota Wild NHL team, who meet by chance in a fierce storm. Kacie is an amazing woman, her two girls are beyond adorable, and Brody is my favourite sport book boyfriend. This series is complete.
Daughter Of Fire by Michelle Irwin
Read by Vicki – Imagine a paranormal version of Romeo and Juliet and you end up with Evie and Clay. Evie is a young woman who is not human, while Clay is a descendant of an organisation that hunts and kills anything that isn’t human. This series was full of twists and turns and spans over many years. This series is complete.
Declan Reede: The Untold Story by Michelle Irwin
Read by Vicki – Set in Australia, this series involves a lovely single mother, Alyssa, and a foul-mouthed, oversexed young man with a bad attitude, Declan. A second chance romance, this will take you on more twists and turn than a racetrack. This series is complete.
Flight & Glory by Rebecca Yarros
Read by Vicki – Each book in this series can be read as a stand-alone, with the exception of
Hallowed Ground, which brings the series full circle by returning to the original couple from Full Measures. Make sure you have tissues at the ready, because you’ll need them for this young adult/military romance series. I believe this series is now complete.
Him by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy
Read by Vicki – This duet is a gay sports romance about Wes and Jamie, where Wes knows he’s gay but Jamie struggles with the knowledge that he may be bisexual. The relationship is tested when Wes makes it into the NHL and wants to keep his sexuality a secret until he’s built up a solid career. While the story seems complete for Wes and Jamie, there may be more books coming for Wes’ team mates.
Hurricane by R.J. Prescott
Read by Vicki – These two books follow Emily, a young woman on the run from a traumatic past, and Con, a boxer from the wrong side of the tracks who looks like the last person in the world Emily should turn to. This is an intense series (for me at least) and is not for the faint of heart. They cannot be read as stand-alones and I’m not sure if this series is complete, or if we’ll see some books about Con’s friends.
Ivy Years by Sarina Bowen
Read by Vicki – The books in this series follow the players of a college hockey team and deal with very some very sensitive topics and situations. Each book is about a different couple and can be read as stand-alones, but they’re so good, so why not read them all from the beginning. I believe this series is now complete and includes one novella and five novels, one of which is a gay romance.
Legal Affairs: Cal & Macy by Sawyer Bennett
Read by Vicki – This is a novella trilogy following Cal and Macy and it is scorching hot. Books one and two end in cliffhangers that will leave you desperate to buy the next book. Macy is a strong woman with a terrible past, and Cal is my ultimate corporate book boyfriend. This series is complete.
Off-Campus by Elle Kennedy
Ready by Vicki – The books in this series follow the players of a college hockey team and are filled with a good dose of humour. Each book is about a different couple and can be read as stand-alones, but they’re so good, so why not read them all from the beginning. This series is still ongoing.
Sugar Bowl by Sawyer Bennett
Ready by Vicki – This trilogy follows Sela and Beck as they try to find a way to get revenge on JT, Beck’s business partner and the man who raped Sela when she was just sixteen. These books cannot be read as stand-alones and does include a sensitive topic and some violence. This series is now closed.
