In Vegas, a lot can happen in twenty-four hours.
What do you get when you mix a rock band as hot as Reckless Beat, women strong enough to capture several of the bad boys’ hearts, and a bet that sparks a competitive streak?
Boundaries will be pushed, alcohol will be abused, and loads of sarcasm will be shared.
Once the games are over, it’s time to make a commitment. But love in the limelight is never easy. The past is trying to catch up with the present, and the pressure may be too hard to handle.
Seduction, torment, laughter, and heartbreak—one reckless weekend will test each member of the band and the women who’ve claimed their love.
RECKLESS WEEKEND follows the crew on a trip to Las Vegas for Mitch and Alana’s Bachelor and Bachelorette parties. Every Reckless Beat member and their respective others are there to let loose and have some fun. But what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas and the troublesome fun they get up to follows them all the way home for the wedding. Vegas did not discriminate between man or woman, attached or single.
Everyone we’ve met before is in attendance, but the story focuses on Mitch & Alana and Blake & Gabi. Alana is freaking out about the wedding, wanting it to be absolutely perfect for Mitch. While Gabi is going through some issues of her own but is determined not to let them affect Alana’s special day.
This novella is no different from the first two books, in that it was filled with a good dose of humour when it needed it. What the boys got up to in Vegas was hilarious, but as always other emotions are always close to the surface. Everyone has their own issues they’re dealing with and sadly some are breaking under the pressure.
My favourite scene? The one with Leah in the tattoo parlour with Hot Piercer Guy. Yeah, that scene was totally hot.
Hot Piercer Guy: “You’re a gorgeous woman, Leah. If he doesn’t want you, then find a better man who does.”
