My Review
This is Five Hearts of Fantastic I tell you, I am not a big reader of paranormal that include Witches, Ghosts, Immortal Warriors and Vampires. This book has those and it even had a glossary at the start to explain where they all fit. For a novice like myself I did find the glossary helpful in the first few chapters and then the book just took on a journey of its own that I became consumed with and completely entangled in this amazing world.
I admit at the 70% mark at a particularly critical part of this story for Jasper and Max I put my ipad down and walked away as I was so scared as to how this book would end. It took me two hours to walk back, sit down and finish the journey with them, this point in time also made me fall in love with Xamien, Holden and Guise even more.
Nashoda Rose, please I want a book on Xamien, Holden and Guise – those guys are amazing and just leapt off the pages at me and held their own against the chemistry of Max and Jasper. The connection between Max and Jasper was just off the charts hot and heavy I mean I could not put this down.
I adored the relationship of Xamien and Max and the all encompassing protection he offered this beautiful girl. To even comprehend the years of turmoil she endured at Drakes hands, we received snippets of but I did not need to known any more as her pure fear of Drake the Vampire you could feel in the words Nashoda wrote. This is one of my highlight books so far this year as not my normal genre but I would pick this up again and re read it, over and over.
