Synopsis

Homeless, hungry and desperate enough to steal, Doe has no memories of who she is or where she comes from.

Review

This tale twists, is fast paced and a quite harrowing story, you turn the first page and hang on for dear life and hope your heart can take it. It does however have amazing parts of friendship and family in a sense that is not traditional.

King and Preppy have a bond that is so strong and built from hard upbringings and non judgement.

We meet Doe, frightening and hungry and unsure of who she is, I felt such sorrow for her character at the way she was manipulated with one scene a standout in which was simply terrifying and making you feel helpless as a mere bystander.

The connection between the three main characters keeps you entwined within the pages and you will not be disappointed. This romance is dirty and raw with no fluff or soft edges.

Fair warning the ending will have you tearing your hair out with the epic CLIFFHANGER!!

This story left me in a serious book funk for a few days as you will ride a pure rollercoaster of emotions with these characters.
