Tyler

My Review
Its been a few days since I finished reading this as I needed to give myself time to recover as this story is quite erotic, emotional, dark and the premise of the story will either intrigue you or simply not be your thing. Other readers either love or hate the whole story being that is centres around an ex lover stalking his girlfriend for the end result of retribution and payback. I found Tyler’s character really intriguing in that she comes from a well to do family, had the privelged upbringing but is quite introverted and happily existing with some random stalker helping her out in her day to day life. He breaks into her car and reverse parks it for her each night and takes out the trash – isn’t that what we would call a husband?
Ok I love dark romance, it is not as dark as other erotic books but is more about the mind games of the three main players. The last few chapters were frantic in that the writer could not reveal her 360 degree turns until all the ducks were in a row as they say. The friendship between Dean, Tyler and Jeremy was really interesting especially considering the writer took us back (in my view a few times too many) to their childhood to help understand their links. Some of these scenes at the start I found a little blah (I wanted to get to the sex scenes) but I think considering I read this book in like under 48 hours it must have been good as I could not put it down!
Now the sex scenes were hot, the bondage and Deans dark domination was fantastic and made me horny as hell. I actually picked one of Tyler’s future outcomes mid way through the book but did not see Jeremy’s or Tyler’s boss for that matter. I really cannot say too much about the general story line as the twist and turns and Deans understanding of historical events is just simply remarkable. Also have to say Dean is now an underworld boss so has many servants to do his daily duties whilst he stalks his childhood sweetheart.
Thinking back now the last few chapters still give me chills and upon finishing I actually wanted a book 2 immediately. I understand though why the writer ended it at the scene she did, it gave you a “what the hell was that” moment and had you simply staring at the final paragraph once you had finished – brilliant!
