Review

Wolf Unleashed is another exciting novel that has great heart by Paige Tyler. It starts with a bang and just keeps going. I love that she stays true to the idea of “The One”.

Alex is a completely lovable character. He does have flaws but that makes you love him even more. He has found a home with SWAT after a traumatic event that turned him into a werewolf.

Lacey, Alex’s chosen one, is not ready to jump feet first into a relationship. She doesn’t understand why people risk their hearts. She also loves animals and is working hard to take down a dogfighting ring. Lacey has a really close relationship with her sister but her sister is growing into a young woman who is going to test her boundaries.

Wolf Unleashed is another great addition to this series. The characters work so well together. The humour was easily found with the banter between the other SWAT members and Alex. Especially with Remy. Lacey’s sister also providers some humorous and emotional moments. I also found that Alex was a really sincere character. He would not force Lacey into anything she was not ready for even if it meant that his “one” would turn him down.

This story has some twists and turns in it. Lacey’s passion for animals led her into some difficult situations that had Alex jumping to save her. I really love the way Paige Tyler added her passion for animals into this book and look forward to the next addition to this series.
