Synopsis

Emily Reynolds, estranged sister to Dane Reynolds, President of the Savage Angels MC, has just lost her father. He was not a caring man and inflicted suffering on his family. Dane abandoned her and her mother years ago, leaving them alone to deal with a brutal man who never showed any love or mercy. Emily wants Dane to feel the pain she felt, she wants him to suffer as she did and decides to make the long drive to see him.

Salvatore Agostino, captain in the Abruzzi crime family is also on his way to see Dane Reynolds. A ruthless businessman, he is fiercely loyal to his family and his men. A chance encounter brings him face to face with Emily.

These two meet and their attraction grows into a love that neither could have anticipated.

Will they be able to overcome the turmoil that awaits them or will their love be destroyed by forces beyond their control?

My Review

LOVED Dual POV – glad continued on from book 1 – Savage Stalker.

LOVED these two main characters from the beginning – firstly Sal was so strong, hot and fiery and Emily just a beautiful innocent woman but also independent and a fighter which was clearly shown further along in the book in her harrowing scenes when she is trying to survive. I immediately wanted these two characters to find each other and start the romantic journey.

I really wanted this book to go for another few chapters as I wanted to see Sal really show Emily the type of lover he was and I wanted them to have some peace, I felt let down and wanted more at the end. At the start he was standoffish but when Emily broke down his barriers I really wanted to see him show the dominant man he kept saying he was as a lover and protector as I did not feel like we got all of Sal and Emily, perhaps we may see them again in the next book – I really hope so.

I have to be honest, one thing that I did not like in this book was how right when all the drama was happening we went off the main story and followed another couple so they could have a hot and steamy sexual scene. Now whilst great, I was so invested in where Emily was, what Sal was doing and also Dane and the MC Gang that I kind of just skimmed their encounter as I wanted to get back on track and continue on with the Savage Fire main storyline which I really was enjoying.

So this had great suspense, great connection between main two characters and we got to see Kat again who I love. We also meet Addalynn who is the main love interest in Savage Angels MC #3).
