Review

In Pursuing the Bear, tensions are rising and war is coming between the bears and lions. Lions are making their plans to take back the Cave of Whispers. Bears are going to do everything they can to protect it and the rest of Deep Creek.

Bria has come to Deep Creek to prove herself. After having all of work stolen from her, she believes that she will prove that shifters exist. She has worked her whole life to make her parent proud and now is her chance.

Derek is a ranger that loves Deep Creek and his clan. He will do anything to protect it even from his own mate. He hates war but will stand by his fellow bears in order to keep everyone safe.

The connection between Bria and Derek is strong. They are instantly drawn together. But Derek is keeping a big secret and Bria has trust issues. Can she let him into her heart after she finds out the truth?

Kerry Adrienne has put together a fast paced and touching story. She built on the characters that we were introduced to in Waking the Bear. They have great personalities and they make a great family. The end of the story had a lot of emotion and was very exciting. I’m really looking forward the next addition which will be from the lions perspective.
