Review
A story full of alpha men who are Lawmen, Rangers and FBI, so if you love being surrounded by a sexy Lawman you will enjoy this fast paced read with lots of mystery.
This series has six books and I have read all the blurbs and the last book is for one of my favourite characters being Cord, Addie’s half brother.
No cliffhanger at the end of the book but you are left with more questions so to speak about the serial killer, Addie’s father.
Addie’s older brother, Jericho the Sheriff who instantly ignited the pages with his alpha hotness is book 2 so I am tossing up whether to buy the next book and continue the with series? I will tell you why – I did not feel the passion and connection between Addie and Wes. There was pockets of great moments but it took awhile and being a short book such as this the only thing that kept me going were the guys and the mystery of her father. She was not as heartbroken as I thought she would be and with all the drama going on in her life I kind of wanted her to I don’t know perhaps cry and show a softness that Mr Alpha Texas Ranger Wes would come in and be her saviour. Don’t get me wrong he protected her and never left her side but I wanted a bit more softness – just my opinion – especially considering she was a hormonal pregnant woman.
Favourite part was simply all of Addie’s adopted brothers who are all Lawmen and alpha protective of their little sister considering they also know her heart was broken by one hot Texas Ranger and they simply made this story for me.
