Pleiades witch Shannon Randolph has been framed for a theft she didn’t do. She has one week to return a stolen relic to the god it belongs or she will be executed. What’s worse? The moment Shannon strolls back into Jason Merck’s life he’s in trouble. There’s something about the witch he can’t resist, but he must. The witch hunter cannot date the witch.

Review

Hooked on a Witch is about a Pleiades witch that has been given a death sentence. Shannon is accused of stealing something that belongs to a powerful god. She has no idea why they think she has it but she must find it before the time runs out or all the Pleiades witches will be marked for death. Merck is a witch hunter that happens to have a thing for the this Pleiades witch. He knows that she should let Shannon go but first he must help her find this relic and save her.

Both these characters have a lot of charm and their relationship has it ups and down like normal relationships do. It’s just that they are trying to save each from mystical creatures and gods. Merck has an issue that he has not shared with Shannon that could change their relationship. I like that he really cares for her and wants her to survive.

I liked this story but I found myself putting the book down. I gave this story 3 1/2 hearts but honestly I think I will read this story again because it has all the elements that I love in a story. It has action, humour, romance, heartbreak and a mystery.
