1 Tell us a little bit about yourself (family, hobbies, pets, etc).

Grew up in New York and met my husband on a visit to San Francisco. I suspected he was “the one” and quit my job, gave up my apartment and moved there to be with him. We’ve been married a long time and have a great son and daughter.

2 How did you get into writing and why romance?

I’ve always loved to write and worked as a journalist untilI discovered that making things up was a lot more fun. I’ve always been a romantic and love to read those wonderful happily ever after books so it was a natural for me.

3 Do you ever re-enact the sex scenes you write about?

My husband likes to say that he’s inspired every sex scene I’ve ever written. Is he right? I’ll never tell!

4 Name a romance book or series you would love to see as a movie/TV Series.

It wasn’t great writing, but I really enjoyed the stories in the “This Man” series by Jodi Ellen Malpas or the “Fixed” trilogy by Laurelin Page. Either of these would make Fifty Shades look like a PG-rated movie.

5 Have you ever read a book based solely on its cover?

Yes, many. I don’t pay too much attention to a book’s title, but the cover image has to grab me and make me want to find out what the story’s about.

6 What is your ideal way to end a long day?

Dinner with my husband, some television and then bed.

7 Describe your ultimate holiday.

I’ve always wanted to visit the South Pacific, so any island there in an over the water bungalow. Driving around Ireland or the Scottish Highlands and staying in charming bed and breakfasts would be up there too.

8 Who is your favourite book boyfriend and why?

I must be fickle because the hero of whatever book I’m reading becomes my book boyfriend until I discover the next one.

9 What turns you on and what turns you off?

On: Dark hair worn a little too long, light eyes with a twinkle of humor in them, full lips, intelligence and curiosity, height and someone who takes care of his body.

Off: Bad teeth, B.O., a closed mind.

10 Boxers or briefs? Or commando???

Depends on the man and the situation.

11 Who is on your top five “Freebie List”?

Pierce Brosnan…five times.
