Review

Leah and Jason are both wedding photographers, hired to work the same high profile wedding being planned by the Wedding Belles. Working conditions are tense after their brief relationship a year ago ended badly because of a misunderstanding. Leah is hurt because she feels Jason betrayed her. Jason is hurt because Leah assumed the worst and didn’t give him a chance to explain.

I liked both Leah and Jason, even though they were both very stubborn people. I can understand how Leah would get the wrong idea, just like I can understand why Jason gave up trying to explain the situation.

“But my entire life I’ve had to beg people to believe in me, Red. And I wanted so damn badly for you to want me enough to hear me out.”

FROM THIS DAY FORWARD is a prequel novella to the Wedding Belles series and is told in dual POVs. I found this book enjoyable, however there’s not much in this novella that relates to the actual Wedding Belles’ business, as neither Leah or Jason work directly for the Wedding Belles. This was a lighthearted read and a good introduction to a new series, where each book will focus on a new couple.
