Review

FIRST NIGHT is a very quick read about two strangers brought together by a mutual friend, who spend just one night together. Julia runs a bar and is dealing with the financial aftermath of her ex-boyfriend’s departure. At least that’s what I assume has happened because it was a little vague. When Clay walks into her San Francisco bar, she hopes he’s exactly the distraction she needs. Even better, he lives in New York and a one-night-stand is all she’s looking for. But their one night was so hot and so full of passion that it left them realising it simply wasn’t enough and the story ends with Clay inviting Julia to spend a weekend in New York with him.

FIRST NIGHT is a prequel novella in the Seductive Nights series. It’s a very quick read filled with fun flirting and hot sex but not much else. I enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to learning more about Julia and Clay’s past, present and future.
