Sexy as hell or not, this pompous, arrogant, ASSHOLE asked me to pick up his dry cleaning the second I walked through the door. Then he told me that I needed to take his Jaguar to a car wash that was ten miles outside of the city, but only after I needed to stand in a never-ending line to buy some type of limited, hundred-dollar watch.

NAUGHTY BOSS is a stand-alone novella that was a quick and fun read. I loved the sparring and sexual chemistry between Michael and Mya, but Michael is definitely not winning any Boss of the Year awards. But when you find out why he behaves the way he does, what he really thinks of Mya and what he’s done for her, it’s hard not to find him endearing. Despite how Mya talks about Michael behind his back, she’s the ultimate professional when it comes to her work…until he pushes her too far. She’s forced to push back and teach him a lesson, and it was glorious.

Because NAUGHTY BOSS is a novella, everything moves at a very fast pace, with the story including two yearly skips in time: one at the beginning and another at the end. NAUGHTY BOSS is told in dual POVs and comes with a short and sweet HEA for Michael and Mya. It is part of a series, but each novella can be read as a stand-alone. I read this series out of order (I started with book two, DIRTY DOCTOR), and from memory, Michael and Mya aren’t mentioned in that story at all.
