Review

Misadventures of a Super Hero is a story of a normal man who was made a bad choice in a girlfriend and ended up with a super power. And a girl who is trying to be successful in the work world.

I really had fun with the story. Reece (a.k.a. Bolt) is an interesting character who I became addicted to. After his unfortunate transformation he was afraid of intimacy because he didn’t know how his power would affect his partner. It seemed like Reece had changed from his party days and now has found that he had to become responsible for his actions.

Emma was so much fun. She felt that she had to have some restraint because of the position that she held compared to the position that Reece held. And she didn’t know that he had a connection to Bolt.

This story had some laugh out loud moments that even now I still find myself laughing over. These two had amazing chemistry. Plus I love that Reece had to make more than one transition in his life. He had to figure out how to deal with his super power but also he had to change his ways. I found that I couldn’t put this book down and it was fast paced. This was the first time that I had read Angel Payne but not my last.
