Soaring (Magdalene #2)

Firstly I need to get off my chest – I so wish Boston Stone would get his own book after Coert.  I would love to see the real Boston behind the public mask, I would love for my impression of him to change, some beautiful soul of a woman to make him want to be a better man for the town – perhaps a first love returns.

Soaring takes us back to the town of Magdalene and reunites us with characters I loved from The Will and introduces us to Amelia.  This book was just beautiful, I loved it more than The Will and I have read The Will about three times so I will be reading this again no doubt.  I believe my love for this novel is the main fact that the leading lady of Amelia is 47 years old and starting life anew trying to find peace with her children and also a new life with hopefully love and romance.  It is wonderful to read a romance novel where a woman over 45 is still entitled to some passion, up against the wall sex and romance.

I just felt the romance, lust and passion that Mickey and Amelia created in this story was just amazing, beautiful and their sex scenes where hot!   I loved the twists and turns and the melding of two families into one, the closure Amelia receives with her ex husband and then the second chances in this story were just heart warming for both the children and adult characters.

I loved spending time again with Josie and am very excited that Coert is having his story told in the next book of the Magdalene series.

Thank you for another beautiful romance Kristen Ashley.
