Nate

By Celia Aaron

Synopsis

I rescued Sabrina from a mafia bloodbath when she was thirteen. Doing right by her became a priority for me, even while I was busy as the new head of the Philly syndicate. I sent her to the best boarding schools and kept her as far away from the life as possible. It worked perfectly. Until she turned 18. Until she came home. Until I realized that the timid girl was gone and in her place lived a smart mouth, a wicked imagination, and a body that demanded my attention. Who am I? I’m F*cked. Nice to meet you.

Review

Nate is dark and dangerous and holds a soft spot for Sabrina whom he rescued as a child.  The age difference did not bother me in the slightest.   Sabrina is actually very mature and hardened from all the drama and violence in her life.  Nate has provided a safe haven for her and cocooned and educated her.

There is plenty of suspenseful moments that have your heart racing.  The connection between Nate and Sabrina kept me engaged and panting.  Their passion was off the charts and one of their scenes provided my favorite quote:

Wrapped in his arms, and joined in the most primal of ways, I was home.

I definitely loved the second half of the story more, there were fantastic mystery and action sections on the mob storyline with Russians and Irish. I had a hunch about who was double crossing Nate.

David and Peter were two supporting characters whom I found entertaining and helped guide the suspense.  These two bad alpha men would provide a great romance story!

Nate is an easy to read Mob Suspense Romance story that will keep you turning those pages and trying to keep up with all the twists and turns.
