Synopsis

People come into our lives. Some stay, and many go. Some build us up, while most tear us down. They become our friends, our enemies, our lovers, our tormentors.

Christian Davison came into mine, and I knew I’d never be the same.

To Elizabeth Ayers, New York City had always been a dream. She’s worked her entire young life to make it here.

Groomed to one day take over his father’s law firm, attending Columbia University was Christian Davison’s only option.

Neither wanted anything more until they sat across from each other at a café table after being paired as study partners.

Christian wants her, but Elizabeth knows better than to give into their intense attraction. Yet there is little she can do to stay away.

Lost to You, the prequel to the bestselling romance, Take This Regret. A New Adult novella, recommended for readers 17+. It’s unnecessary to have read Take This Regret to enjoy Lost to You.

My Review

Ok I loved this, it had so much emotion and my favourite part was watching these characters change and grow in particular Elizabeth.  The way the two characters developed over the story had me turning the pages until late into the night.  I actually was really surprised how this ended which was a fantastic twist and obviously has made me add the next book in the series to my TBR list which is Take This Regret (Take This Regret #1.0).

My favourite part was following the characters friendships, we jumped ahead at times and I was glad as you could have easily got bogged down in their day to day.  Elizabeth was a character that surprised me, she became so strong and independent and then the curve ball handed to her at the end, well I cannot wait to read the next part of their love story as Christian just needs to grow some balls and stand up for himself.

I cannot wait to return to Christian and Elizabeth’s and find what life is going to throw at them next, oh and also want to have another family dinner with Christian’s parents, my god they are awful people.
