Author Interview

1 Tell us a little bit about yourself (family, hobbies, pets, etc).

I’m married to my college sweetheart and we have a 9-year-old son and a one month old daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing the piano, decorating and reading.

2 How did you get into writing and why romance?

I started writing 6 years ago after I experienced corporate burnout. I’ve always been a romantic at heart so writing about love comes easily.

3 Do you ever re-enact the sex scenes you write about?

No, because my sex scenes fade to black.

4 Name a romance book or series you would love to see as a movie/TV Series.

Jamie McGuire’s Beautiful series.

5 Have you ever read a book based solely on its cover?

No, but the cover does have to grab my attention before I decide to read what its about.

6 What is your ideal way to end a long day?

Take a long hot bath and fall asleep reading a good book.

7 Describe your ultimate holiday.

My ultimate holiday is stress-free with family and friends.

8 Who is your favourite book boyfriend and why?

It varies, but he’s usually the hero of the book I’m reading at the time.

9 What turns you on and what turns you off? (In men).

When it comes to a book character, I like a man who’s not afraid to show his emotions — his softer side. I don’t like the overbearing, domineering type.

10 Boxers or briefs? Or commando??? (On men)

Briefs – gotta love those Calvin Klein underwear ads 🙂

11 Who is on your top five “Freebie List”? (Who could you sleep with that your partner won’t mind? – do you remember the Friends Episode where Ross laminated his list of 5 women he could sleep with?)

No one on my freebie list except for my husband.

12 You have a table booked for four in your favourite restaurant. Who would you invite to join you?

I’d hold a contest and invite three of my biggest fans to join me for dinner and drinks – courtesy of yours truly.
